The Drone License Academy instructor is an FAA Part 107 Certified Remote Pilot in the United States since 2025.
Forward, we’ll review the difference between controlled and uncontrolled airspace. We’ll then review regulatory and nonregulatory airspace while understanding class B, C, D, E, and G airspace. We’ll also review how to interpret and understand aeronautical sectional charts. Lastly, we’ll teach you how to decipher the complex content of the National Airspace System.
The part 107 exam doesn’t stop there. In addition, we’ll teach you how to recognize and understand weather and its effects on drone flights. Equally important, we’ll teach you how weather patterns and conditions affect safe commercial drone operations. You’ll learn how to interpret and comprehend routine weather reports as well as the use of pilot radio phraseology.
Knowing how load factors affect every day drone flight operations is also reviewed in great detail. Consequently, knowing how load factors affect inflight turns, take-offs, and landings, and understanding how the center of gravity affects drone flights are all equally important.
We’ll also review how commercial remote drone pilots should react to flight emergencies. This includes proper emergency procedures and emergency protocol. And this topic will also include crew resource management, recognising and dealing with hazardous attitudes, and conducting safe flight operations.
Finally, we close with teaching you how to understand physiological factors that can affect a safe drone flight. In addition, we’ll review the requirements of operating drones over crowds of people and nighttime flying without waiver.
We know this is a lot of information to digest but over time, you will begin to remember it all.
Please note that our course does not offer the option of asking a teacher or proctor for constant help. Our part 107 lessons are intended for those who prefer to learn on their own and at their own pace. If you prefer to have a teacher you can ask questions of, then our course is not for you. However, we will not leave you hanging in the clouds either. Just email us and we’ll point you in the right direction.
